Indoor Events

Mid November through early April are only available for indoor events, such as bridal and baby showers, intimate weddings, birthday parties, cocktail parties, corporate gatherings, and retreats. Inquire for details and rates.

Events hosted in the mansion at Moonstone Manor:

We are available to host indoor events at Moonstone Manor. Our rates are $150.00 an hour with a 4-hour minimal rental for general events or $150.00 an hour with a 6-hour minimal rental for wedding receptions, but you may rent the mansion longer if you desire. This rate includes use of all the common areas on the first floor, i.e., formal dining room that seats 18, a beautiful parlor that can be used for seating of up to 24 or a casual gathering area with high top tables, a beautiful sun room with a bar/beverage area, a glass top table that seats 4, plus other comfy seating areas, and a handsome study for extra gathering space. These tables and chairs are included. There are beautiful outdoor areas as well, including patios, manicured lawn space, pathways to the flowing stream, ruins, and gardens, and plenty of room for lawn games, when the weather permits. The views from inside the mansion in the cold weather months are just beautiful. The event tent is not part of this rental.

A package for hosting an event in the mansion at Moonstone Manor would include:

  • Menu selections provided by Food For Thought Catering can include a lovely array of menu samplings, butlered and/or stationary hors d’oeuvres, two entrées, a medley of accompaniments
  • We will help you plan the perfect menu to meet your working budget.
  • Hot beverage service, including regular/decaf coffee, tea, cream, sugar, Splenda, and lemon wedges
  • Non-alcoholic cold beverages, your choice, house brewed iced tea, rosewater lemonade, assorted soda, and infused water
  • Ice for the entire event
  • Service-ware (plates, flatware, glassware, hot beverage cups), your choice disposable or rental
  • Staff for prep, setup, service, break down, clean up and trash/recycling disposable, including kitchen and floor staff. Bartenders are available/additional, if needed.
  • All supplies and equipment associated with food and beverage service, including serving platters, utensils, chafers, sterno, hot beverage brewing units, carafes, beverage/bar supplies, including ice buckets, scoops, coolers, display tubs, openers, alcohol storage space, and any other item needed to execute food and beverage turn out
  • Trash and recycling disposal on site
  • Fresh, seasonal greens and t-lights for food and beverage stations
  • In-house, seasonal décor is available and included if you choose to incorporate it into your décor plan (we have beautiful candles, silk flower arrangements, easels, pie/cake stands if you are providing cupcakes, pies or other desserts, etc.).

Catering package costs vary depending on your final menu selections and whether you choose disposable or rental service-ware.
